On March 7th, 2024, the SEALIVE Project concluded its journey with a highly anticipated Final Brokerage Event held at the Ateneo Mercantil de Valencia in Spain. Organized by ISOTECH Ltd, a Cypriot environmental research and consultancy firm, the event gathered 64 industry representatives from 15 European countries, spanning sectors such as bioplastics, aquaculture and fisheries, packaging and sustainability.
Among the attendees was a co-founder of the Network of Women in Aquaculture, Christina Zantioti, who represented the network at its first physical event, thanks to a kind invitation extended by Dr. Xenia Loizidou.
About SEALIVE Brokerage Event
The Event showcased groundbreaking advancements in biobased and biodegradable plastic products developed by the project. Participants engaged in insightful sessions and panel that covered topics such as the formulation of innovative bioplastic materials, industrial applications in fisheries and aquaculture and feedback from end-users. Attendees also had the opportunity to explore an interactive exhibition featuring SEALIVE’s innovative products, including fish crates, fishing nets, and aquaculture mesh bags.
