Leah Davis

Program Associate

Leah Davis is a Program Associate at Hatch Blue, supporting the delivery of global innovation programs focused on aquaculture, ocean food systems, and the blue economy.

She plays a key role in coordinating Women in Ocean Food (WIOF) Africa, a program designed to elevate and support female leaders across Sub-Saharan Africa working across aquaculture, ocean food systems and the blue economy. Leah brings a unique background in both biological sciences and investments.

She previously worked as a Project Manager at M&G Investments in London and holds a BSc in Psychology from Queen Mary University of London, where she focused on neuroscience, genomics, evolution, and behaviour.

Her academic research explored the anxiolytic effects of CBD oil on zebrafish larvae, deepening her interest in aquatic life and systems biology.

Her passion for the ocean and sustainable food systems was further shaped by her travels through South America, where she volunteered with marine conservation organisations and engaged in environmental storytelling.

Now based in London, Leah is committed to building inclusive, impactful ecosystems that empower purpose-led founders to drive innovation and sustainability in the global blue economy.
